Early in 2011 I was a 65 year old women suffering from numbness in my feet, aching legs and a hooked toe on my right foot that was heading south towards my big toe. Adding to these problems, I was constantly falling down in the street, usually over a slight rise in the footpath level, a small pebble or even worse, nothing! These falls were becoming more serious and were taking longer to recover from.
